- rhagfoExplorer IIIEven if they are self adjusting there still needs to be access to the star wheel to release if they wear into the drum.
- fla-gypsyExplorerThey are not self adjusting on a 2006 Keystone

More than likely for a 2006 they are not self-adjusting. Keystone only started putting self-adjusting brakes on the Montana line a few years ago. If you are in need of brakes, you can buy the complete brake assembly with self adjusters for only a little more that just shoes and easier to change the complete assembly than just the shoes.
My 2007 Keystone did not have self adjusting brakes - cabanamanExplorerYou do not have self adjusters on your Laredo.

- rjsurferExplorerI know the Dexter self adjusting brake assemblies still have holes and I'm pretty sure all others have them as well. You still need the adjusting holes to access the adjuster screw in case you need to release the linings, in case they get pushed to close to the hub keeping you from pulling the drum off.
You can tell if they are self adjusting by looking for a silver tab resting on the adjuster screw, that tab is controlled by the adjuster assembly and moves the star wheel one notch at a time.
Ron W. - sk734ExplorerI don't believe there is an adjusting hole at the bottom. You may want to take them apart and see.Dexter makes self ajusting-good luck.
