  • Storage is in the back yard so I can get to it whenever I want and I leave the 50Amp power hooked up all the time.

I run the air conditioner and the fridge for about 48 hours once a month.

That keeps them ready to go whenever we decide to hook up.

I have to keep buckets of water in mine so it doesn't dry out.I guess everyplace has there thing that's a pane!
  • I do run the A/C in our camper, but we are in humid FL. Greatly increases the life of the interior if kept dry and around 80 degrees.

It's also healthier for the A/C to run a few times during the day, rather than sit dormant for many months. Keeps the seals lubricated. Our camper is almost 9 years old, and the A/C still works like new. The A/C on a previous popup camper died after 5 years, and was only run when actually camping.

The cost to run ours isn't much. Only runs briefly during the peak hours of the day. Camper is well insulated, and doors/windows kept shut.

    Wax? Definitely!

With your dry humidity, I would omit the AC. If you were in our South, the possibility of mildew and mold would dictate it's regular use.
I would agree with magic 43.

  • Wax? Heck yes. A good cleaning and waxing never hurts. Personaly I would set the fantastic fan to around 75 close it up and be happy.
