Trailer tire ratings?
Our new fiver will have a max loaded weight of 12,500. What tire rating should we be looking for on this trailer. If it isn't the "best", how long should we wait before replacing them? We mostly snow...

Thanks, I saw those. The shipping brings them up pretty close to the same price I quoted earlier on Amazon where shipping was included, so it's essentially a wash.
I did the "penny test" on my RV tires last night and they have plenty of center tread still on them, although the edges have a little more wear. I think I'm going to try to get through this season with them and save up to replace them with Maxxis tires next spring.
I wasn't much of a boy scout as a kid, but I absolutely believe in their motto "be prepared". To that end, I want to take out some tire changing insurance just in case. Anybody have experience with this tandem wheel ramp from Amazon? Reviews are pretty good and most of the ones who say it doesn't lift the tire high enough to change sound like that can be taken care of by carrying a few lengths of 2x10 board to put underneath it if necessary.
