Maxxis M8008 is a quality ST tire and most others are not. I have 7000 miles on mine over 2 summers and they have spent many of those miles at ambient temps over 100 degrees in OK, TX, NM without issue.
I ordered mine from Amazon and checked the manufacture date. They were only about 6 weeks old. Had them mounted and BALANCED at a local tire shop.
