Im picking up a used Trailsaver BD3 and had a quick question on hooking/unhooking from those that have the same hitch. Before unhooking the fiver do you let the air out first? I have read that some do...

I never air down, never had the hitch bang. We always let it come off the bags before unhitching, and hitch up with it in the high unloaded position. Much easier to raise the fiver a little than crawling under a loaded fiver to air up the hitch, especially with a dually.
