I don't think it's a simple matter of affordability of any type or price range of an RV verses fuel affordability. The way I see it, the less money spent on fuel (better mileage), the more money that can be spent on other things.
I don't believe there is any such thing as good fuel mileage while towing a TT or 5th wheel. It is what it is.
