I've found that cross winds of around 40 to 45 MPH are enough that I think about finding a place to tuck in and others traveling with me in a 5th wheel agree with that wind speed. MOSTLY it's got to be based on your own rig and how well it handles wind.

^^^This is good advice.^^^ I just don't know how to tell when the wind is at that speed. So I judge by when it starts to blow things around to make me adjust with too much counter-steering. And I watch the signs...blowing trees, leaves, grass, other vehicles, and so forth.
