Traveling with things on counter

Just wondering how many travel with things on there counter tops? We have never done this for fear of getting bounced off. Ran into a couple that keeps their canisters, toaster and coffee maker on counter while traveling. Said they have never had a problem. Anyone else do this?

We use kids modeling clay. a little ball of it under the feet of the appliance and they don't slide.
but it can be removed very easy.

I leave toaster, coffee makers, assorted things there without anchoring and they stay fine. What tends to slip off and put dents in the floor is frying pans.

Probably depends on the layout too, with front kitchen being best and rear the worst.

We don't try to leave things on the count but have forgotten a few things and they didn't move. We do have a front kitchen.

Yeah. I have shocks. My kichen is in the middle.

The only thing that stays on the counter is the paper towel holder and anything that we forget to remove.

At the rear of the stove burners, against the wall, I keep my electric can opener toaster and 4 cup coffeemaker. Everything else I clear (unless I forget something.) So far, so good, in all my units I have owned. I even have a small convection oven sitting on a cover of the gas cooking stove. I have "scoot guard) or whatever you call it, under it.

We keep our two vitamin containers on the countertop but they are made of silicon and don't slide; also a box of kleenex but that's it.

We have a rear kitchen and leave a counter top convection oven on the rear counter. It has never moved. We do put a free standing spice rack and a utensil holder in the sink when traveling.

In the rest of the 5th wheel we do move items off of counters to keep them from sliding. Our flat screen (loose) bedroom TV is taken off of the counter and placed face down on the bed.

We don't have shocks so there is quite a bit of bounce over rough stuff at speed.

Our dinning table and chairs plus recliners are not secured and haven't moved in the 22 years of travel.
