I'm in the camp of Chrisatthebeach! Leaving stuff on the counter works until it doesn't and then you have a mess and possible damage to unit and the stuff that decided to fly from the countertops! It just takes 5 minutes to put stuff up so why risk it! We are camping and relaxing, why get in a hurry and leave stuff out to possibly cause undo stress.
