When I buy a trailer(any type) and it comes with any brand ST tires I have LT tires put on and then sell the ST tires on craigslist or the local city newspaper.
You can use those china made ST for a year or two then replace them with a LT235/85-16 E at 3042 lbs which covers a 6k axle. Lawn service/utility trailer owners are always looking for a cheap new or used tire so they sell fast.
Now if the load on your tire are close to max (3000 lbs) then a LT235/85-16 G at 3750 lbs would be my choice.
I went with 5 new Coopers in the LT. I weighed the rig yesterday. Full water and fuel. Empty black and grey. 9350 on the 2 5th axles. 6400 on drive and 5200 on steer. I am way below on all axles and tires. We have driven 900 miles in 2 days. No issues and a month to go. HAVING FUN>
