  • Check out the Forest River owners forum there were a couple of folks there in the Trilogy sub section that issues.

Just take it back to the dealer and tell him to fix it, it's under warranty.

Not sure what your problem is and my info is dated, but I bought a 2011 KZ Escalade in May 2011. By the winter (less than 4000 miles) the tires were shot. Went to dealer and was told there was zero warranty on suspension parts (spindles were bent). Called KZ who told me the trailer had a 2 year warranty but that suspension parts were not warranted. Called Alco (who made the axles) and was told that if I shipped the axles to them in CA. they would check them and repair only if it was a manufacturing defect. I would have to pay shipping both ways regardless. I put on new tires and had an alignment place do the best they could. It was better but it still uses up tires in about 10-12000 miles. Haven't done anything else yet except replace tires....quoted 3000 and a week without the trailer to get new axles.

It's amazing that more RV execs aren't politicians the way they play Pass-the-Buck. What total b.s.

  • Complete axle assemblies are somewhere around 800 dollars each. 3K is out of line
