Triple slides an issue?

Went from 1 to 3 slides and really no diff in site selection. The kitchen slide isn't as deep as the dining slide. If the door can open the slide can too. Also no issue opening the kitchen slide for fridge access. This is so quick and easy on the road at a rest stop I really don't get the complaints. What I gain is a kitchen island and full rear living with theater seating and sofa. Amazing floorplan.

4 slides and all come out about 3.5 feet or close to that, almost the whole left side is slide, never had a problem at any campground but length is my concern on some short sites

Been camping with four slides the last five years. I took my awning hook (any long stick will do) and painted lines on it that correspond to the extended length of each slide. When we pull into a questionable site, I walk around the rig checking to make sure I have adequate clearance from utility posts and trees. Now and then I have to pull forward or back or adjust side to side to make things work. Majority of the time, no problem at all.

5 slides and almost 40ft here. We use state parks exclusively. If the site is big enough for us length wise, width wise usually isn't an issue. We have 3 slides on the drivers side, and we usually can make them pop out around the pedestal, water spigot or other trees without issue. My wife has gotten pretty good about helping spot for me if we need to work around any obstacles. But like I said, we ONLY stay at state parks and haven't had much issue in all honesty. Love the opposing slides, and the more the merrier!

5 Slides - Race Track camping can be a challenge at 40+' long but the 5 slides have not been a problem to date.

I haven't had any issues yet with my three slides but in one mobile home/RV park in Ocala, FL my bedroom slide was mere inches away from my neighbor's slide. Oh well, a miss is as good as a mile....

I will add to this conversation that I have been to race tracks (like Daytona) where the trackside reserved spots can be pretty tight. I think most track spots at the various tracks I have been to are about 20 feet wide by 40 feet long. It can get real tight with multiple slides and a big tow vehicle.

First thing you need to do is have all your slides fully extended. Now measure how far out they extend from the sides of the RV.Draw your self a little picture in plan view of the rig and note how far out each slide extends. Now place this note with a tape measure in the compartment that holds your landing gear controls.

Now you have the info needed when pulling into a site to determine how close to an object you can get.

Never had a problem, been to about 5 different campgrounds without issue.

We have three slides and really enjoy the room. No issues to date with campground parking due to the slides. One issue with parking due to the length of the 5er, but good walkie talkie service from my DW solved the problem. We would not be without the slides on any future RV purchases. Happy trails.
