Tripod brace for 5th wheel...really necessary?

I have a tripod brace to put under the kingpin on my 5th wheel to minimize bounce while walking inside the RV bedroom. Is it really needed though? My 5th wheel is fairly long (about 36ft) and we're ...

Same boat,,,,wife not happy bout bouncing around a little so if we are parked for more then a weekend I set it up. Most times I feel that using 2 of the
X-chocks takes out most of the movement. I think if a sparrow lands on the front of the rig the wife can feel it lol lol....
