Our RV trailers axles/tires/springs are close to the center of a long vehicle. There fore each end has side to side and up and down movement. Granted the landing jacks if their not extended very long take some of the wiggle out of the unit. A pin stabilizer cannot stabilize both ends of the trailer.
I have a pin stabilizer but I understand it can only eliminate up and down and side to side movement at the front. For the rear of my trailers movement I use BAL adjustable telescoping stabilizers. And fore and aft movement I use adjustable chocks between the wheels. I'm rock solid per my requirement.
The JTs or similar products do the same thing.
