Trouble hooking up

I had the same issue with a B&W (best hitch on the market) and tool box. Raise the hitch to a higher level. Mount a wide angle mirror on the face of the trailer or on the pin box, so that you can see the leading edge of the pin-box when you look in your truck's rear view mirror. Now you can see both the pin-box and the hitch as you back under it. I have a white strip painted on the bed of my truck (which can be seen in the two mirrors) to use as a guide in lining the pin-box and hitch as I back up, however a yard stick will work just as well.
