Jeez! I put whatever we need to in the box. As long as it does not interfere with the hitch or kingpin movement it's good to go. I put a cargo net, designed to clear all the moving parts of the hitch, over the box of the truck and away we go. I have seen some things levitate a bit under the net as there is a huge amount of turbulence under the nose of the RV, nothing has left the the confines of the box thankfully. Use some good judgement and common sense and you will be alright.
