Truck bed tool box

we have a tool box fuel tank combo and enjoy the extra fuel capacity and of course just the right amount of storage for the tools and extra things i need to keep in there. it will set you back about $1500 with a pump. but it is sure nice to be able to take off the beaten path trips without back tracking and also buy at a lesser per gallon cost. OH sorry, mine sits below the bed rails also so clearance is not an issue. Good Luck & Be Safe ! ! !

Tractor supply has a nice alum. diamond plate front and rear box. They fit perfect in my short bed duramax

Before we bought our fifth wheel, we had a slide in 9-1/2' truck camper.
With the camper loaded there is of course zero storage available.
I had a low side service body installed replacing the 8 foot pick up bed.
I really like the extra storage even with the fifth wheel.
I do have to watch turning too sharply so the king pin assembly doesn't hit the service body.
A high sided body will not clear.

We have a below the rails tool box, and a roll up Tonneau cover for when not towing.

This is NOT cheap but very nice! 30" front to back. Never exceed the top of bed height.

Highly advise the hitch also.

Under the rail looks cleaner, but you do loose some floor room. UWS makes some good boxes.

I can just see the hitch in the rear view mirror so I got an under the bed rail box. Our truck is just for towing.
