The maximum payload for a 2015 Tundra is 2080 pounds for a 2 door standard cab. The maximum for a double cab is 1680#. These are for the 2x4 models. It is significantly less for the 4x4 model.
Estimating 1500 pounds of cargo in the FW, your pin weight would be approximately 1,600 pounds (20%).
Now, add the pin weight of 1600, hitch - 150, Driver and passengers - 350. You get 2100#. This does not include any extra cargo you store in the truck. You exceed the cargo capacity of even the highest rated truck.
Some people will say, "The Toyota specs say it can pull 10,500 pounds". Yes, it will pull that much, but you are still exceeding the payload capacity of the truck.
So please, do your research and get a truck that will give you about 2500 pounds of payload so you have a little room to spare.
