Truck stop fueling
I'm a new owner of a diesel pickup. I checked out the pumps where the semi's fuel up and discovered there is no slot to use a credit card. Do I pay inside before I fuel? Not sure what the procedure is...

I will look for Flying J's first and use their RV lanes.. If I stop and there are no RV lanes, I will use the big truck lanes.
TOO much chance of issues by using the car lanes, my trailer is 41' long and 13'4-1/2" high.. Those cars DO NOT CARE that I need room to get around the pumps, it's just not worth the aggravation.
I will pull up to a truck pump, send DW in to prepay ( If needed) while I pump.. She will then use the facilities. Once done, she will finish the payment, come out and we are on our way.. If I am done before she is, I will pull up enough to allow the vehicle behind me to fill up.
The only time I had an issue was when we puled into a lane to fill, the truck in front pulled up to allow me to fill.. I filled, and there was a truck behind me. The driver in the front was somewhere, but nowhere to be found for 20 minutes... The guy behind me was on his phone and would not move.. Trapped like a sardine ! ! !
But, hey.... If that's the worse thing that happened to us that trip, I'll take it ! ! !:B
