That is a Myth. The Window Shades are designed to be used. What would be the Point of leaving them up? If some Idiot told me that, I would ask, what is a Window Shade for if not to be used? I would then ask them if I follow what they say, if they would sign a Document saying they will replace any Furniture or Wood that fades.
