Before anyone can even guess at an answer, what is your bro using for a TV?? Will make a world of difference, if he has a 150/1500 all three would be out, on the other hand if he has a dually any of the three would work.Just and FYI, I don't think there is such a model Montana as a 35RL, std Montana have 4 digit model number, we had a 2955RL that was 34 feet.

The tow vehicle is irrelevant. Please do not worry about the TV. And the ad stated 35RL. I do not know Montana's.

Top of the line Heartland is the Landmark...We owned a 2008 Bighorn 3600RL...fulltimed in it for six years and it was a really great trailer. Upgraded a year ago to a Landmark and have fulltimed in it ever since. Heartland has great customer service and IMO is a really good value.

Yeh, king of the road used to be one of the best and heaviest. I wouldn't even have to think twice about which one I'd chose! The other two were top sellers but not because they were top quality, especially around those years. Craig

And there ain't a nickels worth of difference between the other two.

Those are some fairly old units. Condition and care they have had should weigh heavier on your decision than quality. Any poor quality they suffered at the factory has been replaced with whatever silly things the owner did to them in the meantime.

OK, simple answer then: King of the Road is probably Head and Shoulders above the others. Heavy construction, 13555 dry weight, triple axles, thats why you see lots of them behind MDTs and HDTs.

I asked for thoughts about the units. So I will clarify by asking to keep thoughts about the quality of construction and materials used.

I am not familiar with these three units. I do own a Heartland product. But it is not a Bighorn

The tow vehicle is irrelevant. I did not ask if his truck could/should tow it.

Sorry the TV is relevant. The King of the road is most likely heavier than the other two.

Michelle is right - if you look at that Dealer's website, he just calls em whatever he wants :) I notice he has a 31RL and a 298RL as well, neither which are actual model numbers for Montana.

Well if you go to the Montana web site, you can look up specs of past years. There is no 2005 35RL, but there is a 3500RL which is 37' 1" fm the king pin, so actual length nose to tail will be close to 39'. I believe all Montana have a four digit model number. That's all I was saying.
