I have a TST system and have had for 3 years. When I recently picked up a large thorn, think 1/2" diameter, it alerted within 100ft that the pressure was dropping and tracked it all the way down to 40 lbs which is where it was when I parked it. We were lucky and only 1/4mi from the house.
That's real world and not 5 minutes. I don't know about the driveaway part. When I unhook it's turned off and not turned back on until we are hooking up again. The trailer doesn't move until all 4 wheels have checked in.
