TPMS Repeater --TST 507--Will I need one?
So I bought the 507 for my 32ft 5th wheel. Install went well.
With the rig hooked to the truck and the slides out, I get signals from all four tires with the receiver sitting in the middle of my F250 Crew Cab dash. Moving it to the corner of the dash where it isn't obstructed by the pillar and without anyone in the seat, I lose the furthest sensor but the other 3 are fine. I expect a suction cup mount up by the mirror will improve reception, but haven't tried yet to verify. Haven't tried it yet with the slides in since we are in the process of cleaning and packing the newly purchased rig.
So would anyone care to hazard a guess as to how this will perform on the road? Seems like I'm probably close to maximum range. I don't mind buying the repeater, but figured I'd give it a shot without it to start with. Just curious what my odds are.
