Did the TT thing for 3+ yrs. Now a 5'er. All the stuff except my fire wood, 2 gal gas can and 7gal water jug goes in the 5'er basement. With the TT the truck had 1/2 the camping stuff in it. 5 mins to pop out the B&W Patriot and all that's left is the rails. Hitching and unhitching is way easier IMO. I can actually see the pin go in the 5th hitch and watch the handle close. 5'er is 3' shorter to the inch but has the same room inside. Feels like more because of the higher ceiling. I do miss backing in my TT though. You would think after 4-5 trips with it I would get the hang of it. But the 5'er kicks my but every time. No sway control bars or heavy WD hitch to mess with. Although the B&W base weighs a bunch so I just leave it in till I need the bed for something. The list goes on, but it's all been said before.
