You want storage in the truck? Or in the 5'r? You are going to pay pretty much the same price for a good 5th wheel slider, or a good anti sway W/D hitch. Many TT's are lower to the ground, so they have less stairs to enter. And (obviously) no stairs inside. And you can use a bit smaller truck to tow many TT's, because of lighter tongue weight.
We have had 5'rs for years. But next trailer will be a smaller TT. Just tired of all the stairs And needing a big truck to pull the 5'r. And want to downsize, a bit.
But if more than 32 feet, I would recommend the 5'r every time.
