TT vs. 5th wheel: ease of towing
I've been towing TT's for years. Tired of doing all the towing. I want my wife to help out on long hauls but she is not at all comfortable getting behind the wheel (see my rig in my "signature" below)...

Overall I believe a 5th wheel is easier to tow right out of the box. A TT may take more tinkering and adjusting to get the hitch set up to perfection.
I towed my prior 39' 10K loaded TT with a Hensley Arrow hitch and it towed just as well as my current fiver.
There are reasons to buy a fiver but I would not buy a fiver solely for the towing experience.
A TT towed with a premium hitch (Hensley Arrow or Propride) can tow just as well as a fiver.
