Have you considered a class C or A motorhome? If she is comfortable driving the truck alone, then a class C is not to much bigger, just taller.
If you get a 26 - 27 foot class C, then not really a need to have a tow vehicle either. Just don't unpack a whole bunch of things on days you might go sightseeing. . .
I used to have a 85 class C (back in 94-97) and did not tow anything. That class C could not tow anything. Most now can to upwards to 5,000 pounds if you want to tow a light car.
Yet your trailer probably has more cargo rating than a class C, that is why I bought a class A in 97.
