Find a friend who will let you borrow his truck and 5th wheel for a short time, and see if your wife will try driving the rig. If she tries it and says she doesn't feel comfortable, or if she refuses to try it, you have saved yourself a lot of money and trouble.
Everyone's going to be different. My wife hates big vehicles including full size pickups. She also hates a trailer that is too big to see around and overtop. You have to find out what your wife's big hangups are, and tailor your rig to meet her comfort level... or give up the idea of having her drive. You know the saying: "If momma ain't happy, nobody's happy." ;)
