TT vs. 5th wheel: ease of towing
I've been towing TT's for years. Tired of doing all the towing. I want my wife to help out on long hauls but she is not at all comfortable getting behind the wheel (see my rig in my "signature" below)...

You don't need a high dollar hitch or equalizer to make a 5er stable... they are inherently very stable. Personally, I'd never go back to a TT. If she gets into the hitching, she would definitely like a 5er better. I wouldn't assume anything. I'd borrow a 5er/truck about the size you want to have and let her try it out. She might not like it either! Backing ease is whatever you get used to. Craig
