TT vs. 5th wheel: ease of towing
I've been towing TT's for years. Tired of doing all the towing. I want my wife to help out on long hauls but she is not at all comfortable getting behind the wheel (see my rig in my "signature" below)...

Just a thought here. If your wife isn't comfortable behind the wheel towing TT I would not think she would be comfortable towing something that appears bigger and closer. You may want to think about what would be more relaxing for you to drive. If you are getting tired driving you are either driving way too far or fighting your rig. The rig in my signature is as comfortable in the drivers seat as in the passenger seat. BTW, my DW wont drive either.
