TT vs. 5th wheel: ease of towing
I've been towing TT's for years. Tired of doing all the towing. I want my wife to help out on long hauls but she is not at all comfortable getting behind the wheel (see my rig in my "signature" below)...

When we bought our popup many years ago, we agreed I needed to learn to tow "just in case". Several upgrades later and 10 years ago my DH was diagnosed with brain cancer, and at eventually couldn't drive. Because I knew how to tow, we were able to continue to do what he loved. Ultimately he passed, and I sold the TT. Fast forward - I got remarried to someone who loved tent camping. We bought a TT and I taught HIM how to tow, lol!
I can't answer the 5th vs. TT question, but I can state without question that she needs to learn how to tow. Go to an empty parking lot and practice practice practice!
