TV Mount Problem

I also thought it was a bit much for such a light TV! It works great, but I used the audio out to feed my stereo so I can use my trailer speakers, which is REALLY nice, but the TV 'forgets' the setting when power is removed, so every time we move or I turn the power off, I have to go into the menu and reset the audio...

And I would have used a Dremel to widen the slots as well.

I feel your pain. I am on my third 32" Vizio in 1 and 1/2 years. When this one dies, there will not be another Vizio.

It is the 2nd Vizio that has had a Power supply fail. Didn't know the problem on the first on, but it was a 21" and just replaced with a Samsung that still works years later.
The 32" Vizio failed and I diagnosed the failed power supply and replaced it. This second failure is probably a voltage regulator but I am on the road where I can't order parts so I just replaced with a 32" Samsung that weighs less than half.

It will be interesting to see if others have problems with Vizio since it's what came in ours. Samsung or Sony will be its replacement when needed. 3 years in our old 5er didn't cause a problem for the Sony we had that now resides in the grandkids room.

My Vizio died also-I do not think the Vizio liked all the bouncing around?
Like you, I purchased a Samsung, so far so good.

Drill bit just jammed so used Drexel cutting bit and tapered grinding but.

Might use a Dremel Tool or a small grinding wheel. JMO

If it were me I would drill several holes of the correct diameter, then "connect the dots" with a jig saw. You could mark where the bolts would go and just drill there. Either way should not take a lot of time, good luck!
