The mounts will vary some depending on the location of the TV. The mount may have a knob you pull on and the TV can be pulled away from the wall, or it may just have a flat mount that you grab the TV and pull up on it to remove it from the wall. Our 5er has an additional HDMI cable hooked into the TV and the free running end sits in a cabinet where you can add additional devices to it like a DVD player, sat dish, etc.
