I've owned 6 different fivers and only one had a bad ride. And that was obvious in the first 100 miles. All my trucks have been 6.5 ft bed, either extended cab or crew cab. Anyway, the problem was totally fixed by scrapping the leaf spring suspension for Mor/ryde's IS suspension. Kept the trailer for 7 years, towed it over some pretty rough roads, but never felt like we needed to stop towing.
