I suppose we have to admit that it's good that GY pays for these damages. But, it makes one wonder if this is all driven by a simple risk analysis on their part. In other words, they may be saying inside their own conference rooms, yes, we know it's a junk tire, but it's still more profitable to just pay out a few claims rather than actually improve the quality of the product.
As I have stated before in these threads my opinion on this is the best way to get their attention is to vote with my dollars and go elsewhere.
