Nothing new here in Texas other than the inspection records are now cross-referenced on the registration database. I've had my 5th wheels inspected every year since we moved back to Texas in 1997.
If the Texas inspection station doesn't know how to inspect a trailer, point them to the motorcycle section on their computer - the trailer uses the same sticker as a motorcycle, but of course the stickers are now gone....
