Those 5th wheels are a bit much for that f 150. Although you may have towing capacity, I dont think you have enough payload..
Oh Really :h Then how does our little itty bitty teeny weeny tiny 150 tow our Cougar 26sab all over those little hills in the Colorado Rockies with no problem if this 5er is a bit much for it. Inquiring minds want to know.
the question is not so much "how does our little itty bitty teeny weeny tiny 150 tow our Cougar 26sab all over those little hills in the Colorado Rockies with no problem"
.....the real question is whether a person feels it is important to stay within payload limitations as stated by the truck manufacturer. You may in fact be within Ford's limits. You may not. The only way to know is to weight it at the scales.
Even then, some folks don't see the stated limits as "limits" at all, they simply see those specs as "suggestions". To each his own, but to me, that is the first question a person needs to ask themselves: "do I feel the mfr specs should be adhered to, or am I willing to go over them ?"
We all have our own comfort zones based on different thoughts on the whole subject.
And if a person really wants to know, the scales are the only way to verify.
