UltraLight 5th Wheel recommendation
I am looking to purchase a new Ultralight 5th wheel. I have been looking at JAYCO Eagle HT 26.5RLS and the Cougar Lite 26SAB. They are very similar in floor plans but differ greatly in construction....

Heh, heh. And yes, it "weighs" whatever the numbers on the scale ticket say it does. We have to commend the man for actually taking it to the scales. Many don't. He did not say what all of his numbers really are, but he did say he was within limits. So that's good.
In an overall sense though, it can be difficult to find a good match of fifth wheel to these 150/1500 series trucks.
This whole idea of the RV industry using the term "ultralight" is of course mostly marketing, so as we'd expect it gets over used.
