Dealers get a certain amount of the sale price for doing warranty work. If you buy from a dealer he gets the money and then you expect to get it fixed some place else that dealer is left hanging.
What makes you think this is a true statement?
No items get fixed under factory warranty without prior authorization from the manufacturer.
Selling dealer has to jump through the same hoops as a dealer that did not sell it.
