Unhitching SuperGlide hitch with truck at an angle

How straight in line does the tow vehicle have to be when un-hitching a SuperGlide hitch. Son in law has a new 5er with the SuperGlide and it seems like if the truck is at an angle after backing in, ...

On my Superglide.....I always unhook no more then 10 degrees off center.....and that is what Pullite says to unhook or hook up.
