Unknown or erroneous title on single axle fifth wheel

I just came into possession of a single axle fifth wheel RV trailer. I'm just now cleaning and repairing for use. I had trou[img][/img]ble with the title but resolved it. The issue seems to be if this...

If the title is from the state you live in I'd go up the ladder at DMV. Either DMV or law enforcement signed off on the title. Another loophole is LE knows TCs don't need tags so they might never bother you.
Skyline did make a Weekender 5th wheel back in the day.
