It was worth it to me to go to an all steel tire, I worry less about the rough ride hurting the camper than I do a china bomb blowout tearing it to shreds underneath.
"" Yeah, that's where I'm at as well, weight wise. Montana High Country with 5200# axles. I've got plenty of reserve capacity running the Maxxis 235 80 16 LR "E". But I'm tempted to go to the "G" Sailuns myself. Heck if they wouldn't beat the trailer to pieces I'd run solid tires. I just hate the idea of tire failure tearing half the trailer apart 1,000 miles from home and ruining a trip.
