E-rated 15" LTs are not available. Plenty of D-rated are. Given that my 11,300 GVW FW was placarded for D's, anything significantly lighter shouldn't be an issue. Now, if you're on the edge of a D-rated LT tire for your weight, some tire shops won't install them, so you'd need to take the wheels off yourself and have the new tires mounted and balanced, then reinstall them on your trailer. Posting the placard info would be helpful.
