I was in the same position as you however I wanted to get additional height so I opted for taller tires, in your case 225/75r16's in LT e rated would be ideal as they offer a little over 200# more capacity per tire compared to the factory setup.
My unit came with Sendel wheels and they look to be of good quality, the specs are good. I'm going with the. Same Sendel wheels that my unit came with but in 16's instead.
With the measurements you posted, I would not shy away from the 1" diameter larger tires, you have plenty of clearance left.
