An infrared gun is good to take the temp of your tires. If you don't know what the max temp of your tires are then you don't know what you are checking for. Contact the tire dealer or manufacturer and ask what the max temp for your tires should be. If you don't know what you are checking for then you have just lost money on the infrared gun. Chances are you wont need the gun.
