As far as "Not knowing the temps" you can learn by checking what your rig usually runs at for temps. I go by the hand checking -- If it feels too hot -- it probably is. Make sure you have and use a GOOD digital tire guage. If your eleevations changes by more than 1000Ft then check your pressure more frequently. Higher elevations mean higher tire pressues. Pressures should be checked when tires are cold. Road heat can increase pressures quite a bit.
