Craigslist, or even a google search for your make and model should turn up seceral already for sale

I got a value for our camper off NADA last week with no subscription required. I was shocked at how high the price they came up with is, I wouldn't pay that price. You can also try RVTrader to get a value. And do a search on craigslist to see what they're asking for comperable campers.

Don't know, but if buying, just do a google search and see what various dealers are selling for. An average of all their prices would be a good starting point for negotiating a lower price.

If selling, go to Craigs List and do a search. There again, see what others are selling, and get an average. However ... if the item is still on Craigs List, that means, it's not sold. Either the item is priced too high, or it's just the wrong market for this specific time of year. If it was priced right, right season, and right location in the country, it would be sold, and no longer on Craigs List.

I'd start there.

I just tried Nada guides and it worked for me. It shows list price, low and average retail. No subscription needed.

I just checked the NADA price on our 96 Southwind, no subscription was needed.

I checked the NADA value for our 2014 Keystone Alpine 5ver several weeks ago for fun and it was free and no subsription needed. BTW the value was about $11k more than we paid brand new for it in May 2014 including tax and license (CA).

Bad thing is, dealer's won't come close to giving you the NADA trade-in value. Our Work & Play is in excellent condition. Three dealers we've talked with about trading in our camper and buying a new one. The trade-in value is close to $20,000. All three dealers only give us around $15,800.

My assumption is they consider wholesale auction prices or something similar like a car.

WOW, we should sell our trailer now, and get a new one. I ran through NADA Guides, and our trailer is worth more than we paid for it five years ago.

Now, where can I find someone to pay me that for it?.?.?.

Your local library will have the big NADA guide for both RVs and boats. It includes wholesale values.

Nada prices are wildly inflated! I paid $25900 (half of the new price) for my 2008 5er 2 1/2 years ago and Nada still says it's worth $36k. Dream on!! Craig
