So your truck is about 600 pounds heavier than the trailer that it is towing. You are concerned?
Most big rigs have a 20,000 pound truck towing a 60,000 pound trailer!
In reality, a 5,000 pound Jeep can tow a 10,000 pound trailer, while a 5,800 pound F-150 is rated to tow 11,500 pounds properly equipped.
So what are you worried about? Your truck is nearly as heavy as the trailer it is towing!
