- waltbennettExplorerGot one of these last year: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EUG1DCE?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00
For $35 delivered, it beats getting a see-through tank any day! - fj12ryderExplorer IIIOTOH it would appear that they aren't all that popular for some reason. Maybe the price point is just too high, or people don't trust them after the problems with the early composite tanks. Ya never know until you ask.

What? You expected only people who own the things to respond? Fat chance.
Yea I know. You'da thought by now after all these years I'da known better. But like anything else, ya kinda figure, "Ok, one last time I'll ask a question in hopes of a knowledgeable answer". Fifteen responses so far and not one legitimate answer. "DA" me. Lesson finally learned!!!:R No more questions!!! - FlatBrokeExplorer IIWhen I bought my Lite Cylinders they were only $110 for two. Got them from a farmer friend that was a cousin of the owner. He even filled them from his farm tank. That was about 11 years ago so guess I wasn't hurt too bad. Really going to miss e'm.
- 0rionExplorerI would love to have a couple of these. Not sure I put a $300 price on seeing my level in 2 tanks though. I keep waiting and hoping the price will fall or these will get more popular and drive the price down.
- HannibalExplorerAfter 30 years of camping, I've resorted to three 20 lb bottles. That way we can exchange anywhere and always have one for the WeberQ. Neat conversation piece but impractical for us.
- Sport45Explorer IIFor the cost of these I don't think I'd ever be thinking of trading for a steel tank. I'd get it refilled instead. The beauty of being able to see the level is you shouldn't be emptying it unexpectedly.
- bushman512003ExplorerI seen the see through tanks about 15 years ago and they were only 20/lb barbeque size then and $135MT never made a splash with Me carbon fiber I think looking back..Good idea but high cost try to trade one in at K-mart I think not if in need of B-Q gas You would be stuck...lol..
- Sport45Explorer IILooks like a good idea to me. If I needed a cylinder I wouldn't have any issue with trying one.
Apparently, these weren't involved in the recall mentioned above. - fj12ryderExplorer IIIWhat? You expected only people who own the things to respond? Fat chance.
