Never again will I get a toy hauler with the bed in the slide. Maybe it's an option?

What is the issue with the bed in the slide? Ours is not in the slide now and we are considering this floor plan.

In addition to what has been posted already, some other problems:

- slides are usually not well insulated so the top of the bed is often very cold - not a pleasant way to start the night
- when it rains, it's raining very close to your head - I find the noise very disruptive
- manf'rs put windows in the slide - cold just pours off that single pane glass

I guess if you only sleep when the weather is warm and not raining, you'll be fine. We use our rig in the winter and cold is an issue.
